droid revolution email issue - no color?

okay, boss has droid revolution. brought it to me, says none of his corporate email (exchange) has color.
when I looked at his email, i saw color on any html links, but the rest of his email is indeed colorless.

in outlook I would start looking to see if the email is in rich text format, but I cannot find anything similar on the droid.

can anyone point me in the right direction?
