The first Motorola Droid Turbo commercial will have you scratching your head even as your head is spinning. The actor James Franco makes an appearance in the video sporting a Droid Turbo. It was Tweeted last night.
In the video, Franco is on a bicycle and seems to be "ultra-fast" zipping around as if he can bend time and space. It's probably supposed to be some strange visual metaphor for how fast the phone is, but it might leave you more baffled than impressed...
At least it gets our attention and entices us to remember it, which is what advertising is supposed to do. Of course, if the Droid Turbo really gave you amazing powers of speed like this, then everyone on the planet would own one. Even without the crazy powers, this phone is something special. It's been a long time since we have seen a Droid product that was so impressive it would make folks considering switching to Verizon just to get it, and this new Droid Turbo looks poised to do just that.
