Previously we shared a news tip from @evleaks that Motorola was planning a new Motorola Droid RAZR Ultra series. As it turns out, Motorola is planning a new Droid series, but it won't be in the RAZR lineup and will simply be called the Droid Ultra. Presumably there will be a Droid Ultra, a Droid Ultra M and a Droid Ultra MAXX, but the only thing that has been indirectly confirmed is the Droid Ultra. For a brief period of time, Motorola had a landing page up on their website which showed the Droid Ultra branding. It also had a marketing teaser indicating the new Droid Ultra will again be made (at least partially) out of Kevlar.

Of course, before it was taken down someone grabbed a screenshot of it, and that is what you see above. The marketing teaser says, "Available in a bunch of glossy colors, this high-grade DuPont™ Kevlar body proves you can be even thinner and still be tough as steel." That's pretty intriguing to ponder. We will keep an eye on things and share more details as they arrive.

Gotta love the PR agents at Motorola, and give them their props, as I think this was leaked by them.

"give the public just enough to get their mouths watering".

When it comes out though, it will have a 4.3 inch display, an Ultrasized Bezel, be running ICS, with a promised "Jelly Bean" sometime in later 2014.

Here's to hoping Motorola steps their game up.
