Lately my Droid has been having this really annoying problem very often. In Portrait mode, the phone is unresponsive on the lock screen where you swipe your unlock pattern. But if you open up the keyboard and the phone switches to landscape orientation, the touch screen becomes responsive again and I am able to get into the phone. I was wondering if any of you have had this problem and/or know what could be causing this. Thanks!

I'm having a similar problem

When I try to unlock the phone to answer an incoming call by swiping it sticks and won't unlock. It doesn't happen when the bluetooth is on, even though I'm swiping rather than tapping the answer button on the bluetooth. It doesn't occur when I'm just going in to use an app or to dial out - only answering a call. I thought it could be a buildup of grease or oil on the screen, but that's not the case.
