Droid Weird Bug NEED HELP FAST won't boot

Hey guys I have a serious problem. Last week Wednesday, my phone was plugged in, charging and happy. Just like usual. I went to unlock the screen and it wouldn't unlock. So I took out the battery and hit the power button and something weird happened. It got to the M, but it was to the left of the screen instead of the middle and it just stayed that way for an hour.:blackdroid: So I tried taking out the batt again and it still didn't work. I tried again and it DID work.:icon_eek: But then after using it half the day, the same problem happened again. So I kept trying to boot it, I finally got it, and I restored from a NanDroid backup. It worked for about an hour, then it happened again.:reddroid: So finally, I restored from a stock FroYo SBF, rooted and installed Bugless Beast because in order to get the Metro PCS PRL back on it, and it worked for all of yesterday and half of today, but then it struck even with Bugless Beast.:icon_evil: So here I am now. I can get into the bootloader, but I'm not going to re-flash an SBF because I already tried that twice and it still had this problem and I don't want to re-flash the Metro PRL. Booting seems tempramental at best, with it working almost never and I've tried about 20 times since earlier today, but it won't work. Should I just buy a new phone?

Wow... this a first for me... did you drop it or did overheat?
Sounds like maybe your cpu is having issues... are you overclocked..?

Yes I was clocked up to 800 MHz before then clocked up to 1 GHz and I had this problem about 2 weeks after I clocked up. Would this be the issue? And how could I fix it? As far as I know, it never got above 115 degrees Farenheit, but I don't know how hot overheating is. Please give any advice you could have:)

Well my guess is, and im only guessing, is that your processor, o/h after you o/ced it. Now when its cold it works... but after a short use the temperature goes up and it's acting up again. The only thing I can suggest is to flash a stock kernel that would keep it cool. If that won't help it sounds like a hardware damage and I would say you would need a different phone...

OK Thank you Chizzele for all of your help. Yeah it won't even work cold so it's pretty much dead. I am buying a new phone today

Which phone are you getting? I'm debating myself since my upgrade is around the corner..
