I tried to flash a theme through sp recovery all went well till i tried to reboot and it got the the m and then went blank. I can still go back to sp but i cant restore a back-up or anything. Help is appreciated not sure what I did wrong.

Are you sure you used the correct Theme for the Rom you were running?

What is the issue when trying to restore a backup?

Yes I was running UD 2.4.0 tried putting the peppermint twist on it. I tried a simple nandroid backup and it says error: nandroid exited with status 21.

Not sure Why you bootlooped but to restore, you need to change the filename of your backup to not include any spaces or special characters.

How do I do that Im pretty much a newb at this and I really appreciate the help.

K, np, boot to recovery, plug your phone into PC and use the recovery menu to enable usb storage, forget exactly which menu it's under, sorry, then navigate to the nandroid folder on the window that pops up on your PC and change the name of your backups (remove all spaces), then disable usb storage, unplug phone, wipe data/cache and restore your backup:)

so i did everything you said and now its stuck on the m

If you wiped Data/Cache then restored a backup and it worked but your stuck then you can try D/L a Rom and loading it onto your sdcard and flashing it, after wiping Data x2 and Cache x2.

Where do you want to end up at?

I want to go back to UD 2.4.0 before i tried to put the theme on

ok im used to just downloading the file on my phone so how do i do it from pc to phone and using sp recovery.

D/L Rom to PC, rename to update.zip (make sure it's not update.zip.zip), plug phone in and enable usb storage (like before), drag the update.zip to the root of your sdcard, disable usb storage and unplug phone, wipe data/cache x2, install , allow update.zip install, install update.zip, reboot

do i open or just save the file after downloading it?
