is it any different to upgrade your phone through amazon, walmart, best buy then it is through verizon itself since its a 3rd party? i would prefer to upgrade at verizon but you just can't beat the other places prices.

i just upgraded my phone plan to the unlimited family 1400 email, do you think upgrading through one of these places would effect that? kinda paranoid about doing anything now with that good deal on my account. however upgrading your phone and renewing your contract shouldn't change it just extend it.

Thanks man! I've been waiting to get one for my wife....my "new every 2" comes up TOMORROW, but the X still would have cost me $150 to upgrade. So instead, I used one of the upgrades available on one of the kid's phones and not only saved $100, but my "new every 2" is still available in case someone breaks their phone. It's a really good phone. I don't think you'll regret it. It pretty much replaced everything that I used in my car. It replaced my GPS (google maps is way better than my Garmin was), my Sirius radio (use Pandora now, or just the MP3 player of your choice - I like Mixzing), my PC for many things....and of course my phone. It's a great device.
