Droid X and HDMI Cable, Can't get it to work

What am I doing wrong? All research says just plug the HDMI cable into computer or tv and it should be auto recognized, but no such luck. I tried on both tv and computer. The computer didn't see the phone and neither did the tv. (Yes, i changed input on tv to correct hdmi input)

What are you trying to do? From what I've read you can only view your gallery on your TV. They have the port locked down for any other media.

Mine is doing the same thing. It worked fine the first time I did it.........now it says I'm not connected. Anyone???
