Droid x apps

I have a Droid X through Verizon, and love some of apps, but hate some and can't seem to figure out how to get rid of them. The ones that came pre-loaded on the phone are the ones I can't delete, the phone won't let me, no matter how many times I drag them to the trash can. Does anyone know how to get rid of the pre-loaded apps?

Rooting is something you want to approach with extreme caution, particularly the Droid X. The original Droid (the D1) and the Droid Incredible are easy to root - you do it and forget about it and move on with your life, enjoying roms and themes, and kernels.

The Droid X has a locked and encrypted bootloader, and has to be approached differently. Read up on the whole concept of what rooting is, the benefits, and the down side (voids your warranty), before making a decision to root a Droid X.
