OMG! I think I see one of the escaped ones ... It's on my back deck, with a blonde and a Rum Punch ...

I am friggin happy as a h^^l hound that the X will NOT have a snapdragon, but instead fly with a 1ghz omap! Whoo Hooo.....

CK is just hoping that the Droid X will transform into a Droid Pro and emit "DROIIIID" right before its' glowy red eye evaporates the audience. Well at least that's what I am waiting for. :)

Live: Launching Verizon’s New Motorola Droid lineup – The ‘Next Generation Of Does’

By Will Park on Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010 at 9:34 AM PST
In Android, Devices, Motorola, Verizon

We’re here in San Francisco to witness the launch of Verizon’s new high-end Android smartphones – the new Motorola Droid lineup (Droid X, Droid 2). We’re expecting Verizon to go live today with the Motorola Droid X, and we may even get a whiff of the Motorola Droid successor, the Droid 2.

To help jog your memory, the Motorola Droid was the first Android phone to launch with the new generation of Android OS – Android 2.0. It was, at the time, the best thing to happen to Google’s mobile operating system. But, that was last year. As it stands today, Motorola has competition coming in from all sides, in the form of the Sprint HTC EVO 4G, the Verizon HTC Droid Incredible, the impending iPhone 4 and Google’s own Nexus One. The company’s answer to this smartphone onslaught? The next iteration of the Motorola Droid.

At this point, we know that the Droid X will sport a 4.3-inch touchscreen, HDMI-out and an 8-megapixel camera. We’re also expecting to see a 1Ghz processor and full 720p HD video recording. We’ll know more in a bit, stay tuned!
