Hey so I recently bought the Liberty Toolbox Donate version. Everything was going great until I got my Multimedia Dock in from Verizon. I tried it on my phone and it didn't work. So I decided to go back to regular gingerbread and backup the multimedia dock system app and reload to Liberty 0.6 then restore the app on Liberty. I figured it would be fairly simple... I was wrong...

Right away after I got back to stock gingerbread I was having problems. My phone was coming up and saying "Download was unsuccessful" in the notification bar. I thought it was something I did so I did a factory restore and tried again... It did the same thing. I read online and tried to delete my android_source folder and let it reload itself. That did not work. The only thing that I got to work was to go to the market on my computer and tell it to send the app to my phone. It loaded fine then. I thought to myself... OK, maybe it's just something I'm doing... So I got Liberty and loaded 0.6 back up from the toolbox. It had me go though the set-up process again and after I was done my apps started loading. I sat my phone down for a bit to finish and when I returned I had A LOT of "Download was unsuccessful" notifications. I need to know how to fix this...

Thanks,

go to APPLICATIONS, then to MANAGE APPLICATIONS. Under the ALL tab, scroll to MARKET. Click on UNINSTALL UPDATE. clear market cache and market data. You should be good from there. You may need to reboot.

Thanks for the quick reply SplicedX, I tired your suggestion and it didn't work :/ I uninstalled the update and then restarted my phone and still no dice... Any other suggestions?

Were all your apps saying "download unsuccessful" or just some out of the bunch? The other day I did a factory reset on stock .596 to clean some things up and several of my apps said download unsuccessful but when i clicked on each individual app that was not downloading and dl'd them one at a time it worked just fine.

Well for some reason it downloaded and installed all my Angry Bird apps, and thats it... For each app after it says Download unsuccessful. I tried to download another app just now and it still says Download unsuccessful. Even one at a time :/

Well, after reading on other forms, a SBF sounded like it would not work. From what I get out of all this is it has something to do with Google's servers... So I got the idea of going and doing a factory reset and making a new Google account. After that, I can download again. So I lost everything I bought from the market which wasn't much anyway. But I can't go back to Liberty now unless I re-buy the toolbox which I don't really want to do...

So just try making a new Google account and see if that works
Hope this helps
