Droid X Gingerbread Recovery

OK, I'm running rooted GB on my DX, and for some reason Droid X bootstrap by Koush doesn't work. Is that normal???

You need to use the Droid 2 bootstrap for GB. It also works on Froyo.

Make sure usb debugging is turned off. You do not have to use Droid 2 bootstrap.

Or you can do that. I just don't feel like turning off debugging whenever I wanted to use it.

Of course, I don't need the bootstrap now that I am on CM7.

I have the proverbial monkey wrench. I also have a GB based rom and D2 bootstrap, but if I use it for restore I have issues that need an sbf to fix. Suggestions?
