Droid x lcd issuses

Noticed My droid X has a LCD issuse in the middle of the screen every time i press it like something might have pressed to hard on the screen , no matter where i press on the screen i see this bubble effect in the middle of my screen, Now im wondering if i take it back to verizon will they repair it or replace it & if so what happens with the APPS that i brought...?

Also i have only had this phone for about 3-4 weeks & do have the extended warranty coverage on my plan.

You can save all of your apps to your sd card by using astro file manager.

Your phone comes with a 1 year warranty so they would likely replace it with a refurbished phone if it is past your 30 days.
