Droid X music won't play until after reboot. How to fix?

The music won't play on my Droid X, running Android version 2.3.4, and I will recieve an errror message saying, “sorry the player does not support this type of audio file." Custom ringtone stop working, music & video won’t play, custom alarms do not ring, etc., until after a reboot. Sometimes it will happen a few times a day and sometimes it won't happen for a few days. My phone is not rooted and this problem just started happening a few weeks ago.

Same as above.

I am having the exact same problem for about just as long.

2 weeks ago i stated to unmount my SD card and then everytnig would work again, then one day that was no longer a solution.

No sound, no video playbalck, and camera/camcorder won't even open.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?
