Droid X No Service

For some reason I have no service at all on my Droid X

The phone is unrooted and has 2.2

It keeps saying searching for service when I know that there is service because I have other Verizon phones that receive signal at my house.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

Did you try resetting it (off/on)? If you've done that try a 30 second battery pull. If that doesn't work do a factory data reset. If that fails, take it back.

Well i just found out that it is indeed my area because I went up to the mall and I had service and 3g. I believe a phone call to verizon will be right after this post.

call *228 option 2. This will update your roaming and possibly fix it. You will just need some service to make the call
