Droid X Resends Old Text Messages

Sorry If I missed a thread already posted on this. I looked but couldn't find one.
On startup my Droid X resends old text messages I have not deleted. Any help on this?
I am using the stock TXT Messaging. I am updated to Android 2.3.3.

Try going to settings/applications/manage apps and select messaging and clear data.

Yes, Thank you, I usually try to keep my sent text messages deleted but once in a while I forget.
It doesn't seem like the txt's should resend when the phone reboots. Wondering if there is a fix? :icon_eek:

I've gotten my share of multiples too haha, try that and lemme know if it helps.. it stopped mine
Or try an alternate msging app like go SMS, freeze your stock one and see it go resolves your problems..
