Droid X Screen Will Not Rotate

Hi,

My Droid X will not rotate orientation anymore on text messaging, nor on a web browser. Actually it wont rotate anything at all. I beleive it just updated itself last night.

I tried a battery pull with no luck. Orientation setting under sounds and display is checked.

Any suggestions? Thanks for your help in advance!!

Same thing happened to me on the first day i got mine...i tried turning it off, removing battery and even doing a factory reset but nothing would fix it....I gave up in the end and went to bed after putting the DX on charge.

Woke up in the morning and the phone was fine!...that was 5 days ago and I've had no problems since.

No it won't. Your contacts are backed up to your Google account. One more reason to love the Android OS.
