Will this have any benefit for those working on the bootloader issue? Or is this mostly useful for ROMs on stock kernals?

It'll help ROMs and kernels....the bootloader is outside the OS. So the source code doesn't affect it.

But as I understand it (which is admittedly lacking) u can't run a different kernal until bootloader is bypassed. So we still will be operating on Moto kernals?

How big is this file? I'm using Mozilla and have downloaded 30mb and it still says unknown time remaining.

Its 283mb in a .rar file...took me just under 10 minutes to pull it on my cable connection...server may be getting a high rate of users going after it...
