Droid X w/ a Motorola T325

I did (what a thought was) a lot of research before buying a Bluetooth speaker for my car. I settled on the T325. I'm not happy with the sound quality that I am getting.

I hooked it up to my wife's car, and it sound so much better with her crappy old LG phone. Someone told me to check and see if the Droid X was showing the connection as an earpiece or a speaker. The connection shows an earpiece......

Is there a setting on my phone that I am missing? I was ready to return the speaker, but after trying it with my wife's phone, it sounded so much better.

Is there a speaker that works better with the Droid X?

this is the one i got. works awesome with the DX. Tons of features. Not trying to advertise for newegg or anything, but thats the best price i found.
