droid x with tranquility

I need some help loading this rom. I followed all the instructions to the dot on this one and everytime i did it the phone was in a boot loop. ok so first i rooted the phone using universal androot. then i installed koush's bootstrap. I then followed the instructions on the tranquility page which told me not to wipe or format. (Might i add that when i also tried Fly X i did wipe and format and it still didnt work.) Ok so then i let it load up and when it finally got done and rebooted it was in a boot loop. So whats the deal? Am i not doing something right? If so please lmk and keep it mature and professional please.

nope 2.1. i coudnt find the leaked 2.2 so thats why i was getting a rom to begin with.

think you had to be on 2.2. download Rom Manager and flash the stock 2.2. make sure you follow the directions around here somewhere to move su to keep root

no all directions say that you have to make sure you're in 2.1

i dont see p3 say anyting about being on 2.1 here. it says 2.2 home and 2.2 stock so im assuming you need to be on 2.2

and it says deodexed. 2.1 you dont have to worry about it but 2.2 you need to to install themes n such so im assuming its 2.2
