DroidX - file location

I can see my still photos easily in the Gallery, but I can't locate the PDF files I've downloaded. I know they're there, because I could view them by dragging down the "notifications" just after I downloaded them. I have Astro file manager but that isn't helping at all - tapping on any of the options in Astro does nothing at all.

Apologies for having to ask this. I did search several pages of the archives of this forum using keywords like "location" - "PDF" - and so forth, but I found no answers.

Try:
Astro
If given the option, select sd card.
Otherwise it should load all the files on your sd card by default.
Find the folder that says "downloads"
Open that and your files should be there.
Did you dl them from inside an app or straight from browser/website?

Thanks - the PDFs are all there today, both in Astro and in the Droid File Manager. I still don't know why I couldn't see them yesterday - but all's well now.
