Well, how do we know what you consider real hot? Do you have anything downloaded that can give you the temp of the processor?

Try downloading TempMonitor and then let us know how hot you're running. Processors can take a great deal of heat. If you're running over 120 I would be a bit concerned but even at that temp it won't hurt your phone. I personally wouldn't be comfortable with it.

i had a similar issue as well until i SBF'd and started all over again. my phone will run hot sometimes but not nearly as much as it did before SBF.

My phone used to run really hot with some roms I used to run. I haven't experienced that with Liberty though. Try reflashing the rom or it could be just your phone due to how many apps or services are running in the background.

I bet money its NOT Liberty causing your problems. Sounds like you got something running in the background thats keeping the cpu in overdrive...:blackdroid:

I've only noticed mine getting hot after having it in the car dock, using PowerAmp and Google Maps/Nav all at the same time. It gets hot, but probably not over 100 deg (guessing).

Mine occasionally gets hot running Liberty 1.5 when doing anything that's CPU intensive.

That's what I think. You using anything with gps running? Apps like Poynt ?
