drool just so happended to hit the one spot

My 10 month old son got a hold of my wife's phone and just so happened the one spot just a little bit of drool hit was the tatle tell spot behind the battery cover. It got under the side of the cover. Is there anything I can do? Phone works just fine as it really didn't get wet other than that piece of paper. Am I out of luck as far as if I ever need warranty work done on it?

Never mind. My wife thought it means it got wet when it is white with red x's on it. It turns red when it gets wet right? Mine has the same red x's on it and has never been wet. Interesting thought about the Scotch tape.
