Dropped Calls

I have the droid incredible and I really like it except for the fact that it is constantly dropping calls. It also switches randomly into the mute mode or speaker. I notice when it drops calls, that the phone has jumped to another screen. I thought at first it was my cheek that pushing buttons, but I now hold the phone away from my face and it still happens. Any suggestions?

It could be your finger touching the screen as well. I have had a few weird things happen during calls because of my fingers touching the edge of the screen.
