E-mailing myself a darn picture.

My phone is sync'd with my GMAIL (if anyone doesnt have a gmail email and owns a droid- you're missing out)

Everytime I send myself a picture to my E-Mail, off my droid; it literally takes HOURS and everytime I have ever e-mailed myself a picture, I need it IMMEDIATELY.

Do you have have this problem as well??

WHY is it taking FOREVER for my GMAIL to receive the damn pic??

I sent myself a pic last night with Gmail. No problem, very quick. I have three different accounts and have no problems. Are you sending it from your gmail account to you gmail account or are you sending it too another address?

Takin a pic; clicking "share" typing in "bo..." and then it auto shows my E-mail. I click my e-mail... then literally 45 minutes later I get it.

goto

settings > applications > manage applications. hit the menu button choose filter then select running applications...

scroll down and choose gmail storage and then press clear data.

this will clear out the messages on your phone and make it resync it will pull all the messages from gmail again (both sent and received).... after thats done try and resend the pic it should be recieved by the recipient within about a minute.


you will not loose any emails by doing this.

i don't know what's causing it but about once a month i have to do that..... i think its just a sync issue.
