Earphone jack quality

laconic

Anyone besides me have trouble with the 3.5 mm audio jack becoming intermittent (that is, not making good contact with the plug) on the Droid Turbo? The same thing happened on my previous Motorola phone, and it on that phone the jack eventually stopped working entirely. And no, I don't abuse it. I usually plug something in once a day most days of the week. After a year it's already getting flaky and I have to twist the plug just so and not move too much to listen.

I wonder if other makes are less prone to this problem.

Probably has lint embedded in it. Take a toothpick or other non-metallic device and fish the lint out of the headphone jack.

No issues with my Turbo (have it since last July). My previous phone was a Razr M, no issues with that one either after almost four years.. My son still uses it at home with Wi-Fi.

I work out in the morning before work and I have used both phones for about an hour at the gym with headphones plugged in every week day.
