Earpiece distorts if higher than medium volume. Normal?

I got a fru X that when on a call distorts if the volume is higher than medium. Is this normal or a defect?

I had the same problem, but I went digging around on here. I found a guy who hit his earpiece with a shot of canned air, said he hasn't had problems since. I tried it over 4 weeks ago (2 days after I had the phone) and it does work. No problems since.

Im getting a replacement tomorrow. Besides the phone I have has some dead pixels.

There is no reason to get it replaced as your next 1 may do it also. It is a very easy fix. Mine did this also and I fixed it in one minute.

The canned air works! Actually I used a nozzle on my air compressor at low pressure, maybe 40 psi.

Might as well fix it than have to fix the next one.

Im gonna try it see what happens. If the replacement does it. Ill try the compressed air trick

Trust me it works.

I just got this new X a few days ago and no way in heck was I going to put up with a buzzing speaker. Right off the thing was horrible and I thought I would have to return it.

I did a search and saw the compressed air idea. I was skeptical but got my compressor out when I got home.

Bingo it was fixed!
