EasyTether VZW Motorola Xoom and HTC Thunderbolt

OK i just purchased easytether off the amazon app store for my Xoom and Thunderbolt and have no idea how to use it i did a little searching on google and it brought me here. I would like to avoid having to pay the vzw hotspot fee can some on please walk me through pairing both devices via Bluetooth or some sort of mini USB cable. When i pair them via bluetooth it says paired but not connected. Sorry im not super tech savvy

Have u tried using ur BT instead? What version is ur honeycomb?

On the Tbolt its 2.2.1 and on the xoom its 3.2 also Do they sell a micro to micro usb cable that I could hook my HTC thunder bolt to the xoom
