eBuddy No Alert

Hello!

Does anyone know how to get eBuddy to alert me of new messages? I see the alert in the notification bar...but don't hear a sound. I have set eBuddy for "incoming messages play a sound" but it doesn't.

HI, did you ever get a fix for your issue? i have the same, no notification sounds in eBuddy, Vibrate works ok, but just no sound. and yes, I have
tweeked the sound settings on off to try to reset it, both on the phone globally and with the ebuddy app in its setup. no workie. All other apps
seem to work fine.

This was working okay but stopped a couple days ago when I installed a couple ringtones.

This is on a stock Verizon A855

Any ideas?

Turn the media volume up.

one thing i've noticed about ebuddy. you WON'T hear the sound if you're in ebuddy itself. you only hear the sound if you're on your home screen, in browser, in another app, etc. could that be your problem?

The media volume was it, just got this and now understand the volume
Heirarchy. Appreciate the help.

i tried to maximize the media volume..but it's no use..
still no sound..
anyone know why??
