Edit build.prop to prevent OTA?

Is anyone getting the OTA update notification and having it abort with the signature verification failure? Can the build.prop file be edited so that the update thinks it has already been installed as we have been able to do with previous updates? This is on an original Droid my wife is using with an old Bugless rom.

I know that with other devices you can freeze the updater in system to block OTA prompts but I know very little about the Bionic and do not want to mislead you. As a result I moved your thread to the Bionic Hacks section so it hopefully can get a little more traffic.
