Just saw they announced ICS for the Prime and their new 7 inch tablet has a Tegra 3 and is only $250! Looks like I won't be getting the Prime after all.

Well this one is $100 more for each model....kind of ridiculous. I think they should just keep the price the same for the TF701 and lower the price by $50-100 on the TF201.

Waitwaitwait...let me make sure I understand. TF701 32GB is $599 and 64GB is $699 (in other words, TF201 prices + $100)? I'm sure I misunderstood.

EDIT: Or does the TF701 also come with stock 3G?

And the androidpolice story says the 7" is a dual-core. I think I need new glasses!

No, you didn't misunderstand. The 32gb model is $599 and the 64gb model is $699 which is ridiculous. And no it doesn't have 3G.

And their specs are wrong. NVIDIA was the one who officially announced the Asus 7 inch tablet so that's how I know it has the Tegra 3 in it.

Eh well I'm not going to be getting a Prime if they have one for $250 that beats every other tablet for that price and a couple hundred dollars more!
