Email otifications at night with MailDroid

I've been given some more responsibilities at my job. The good news is that since I'm using my phone to receive work emails, they're going to pay my phone bill. The bad news is that I will be "on call" at times to receive special emails, sometimes late at night.

The problem is that while I get sound notifications during the day, during the night I don't hear them until after 8am or so. It may be a setting, but I don't know where to look. I use MailDroid, but I can't see a setting there. I don't use Smart Actions either.

Any ideas? I'd hate to wake up and see a string of emails asking me to do something that should've happened earlier.

I want to add that the same is true for my Yahoo and Gmail apps. They also are silent at night.

Sounds like you have a "profile" app running that changes your volumes at night. Are you on stock ICS or are you ROM'd?

It's possible, but I don't know which app. I'm stock ICS.

It's also possible that I'm just too tired at night to hear it.

Try turning on vibration & see if that wakes you up. Or find a longer & louder notification tone.
