Email problem with 4.1.2

I loaded 4.1.2 yesterday and ever since, I am not getting new email unless I open the email and hit the refresh icon. In other words it is not checking for new email by itself anymore. Is there a setting somewhere that might have got changed? Or is this a problem with this update?

Unless someone suggest something different,factory reset.

I'm not having problems but there are email settings you can modify to check for new emails every hour or two or to push them for exchange servers.

er....On the pull down settings menu, the sync was not on.
