email question

I have a 4 email addresses set up. One gmail, one Mobile Me (mac), and two other pop3 accounts. The set up went great, seemed to be working, but now it's being goofy. I'm not getting my emails now, and when I go to an email folder, click on load messages, the circle progress thingy just keeps going around forever.
Any ideas?

Do you have an active Wi-Fi or 3G connection while this is occurring? If you can browse the web but no email, I'd probably try a reboot, or shut down and pull the battery for a minute. Power up and check.

I'm not sure how to answer that (sorry about that). There is a 3G logo on the top bar of the phone. I don't know if that should be on or off. As far as Wifi, I don't know if I should have that on or not. I'm in a metro area, so wouldn't I be better off just using the Verizon network?
