Email setup

Ok I recently installed CM7 on my droid 2. Ever since, my email for work won't setup correctly. The incoming server sets up fine. But the outgoing will not work. Port 465 is not open (checked in telnet) and port 25 is fine. But when I try to setup with port 25, it says cannot safely connect to the server if I accept all ssl. If I choose none for the security type, it sets up, yet I still cannot send an email, it just says connection error.

Ok I fixed the work email. Now when setting up my school email the outgoing server will not work lol its an itt tech email so its @email.itt-tech.edu. they use hotmail so for outgoing I have smtp.live.com with port 25. I choose to not require sign in and security type none and it sets up, but when I try to send an email, it just says connection error
