email stops without opening document

I have installed exchange and the interface works. The documents are there but when I try to open them the email appl. crashes. (process com.android.email) causes a forced closure

what kind of doc? how large? do you have any apps installed to read the docs?

no apps to read, Outlook emails

It doesn't matter what the doc size, it causes the app to crash. I do not have anything other than the "email" app that came with th phone

This happened on my Droid after 2 months of working fine. I would get emails and could open the inbox, but if I tried to open an individual item I would get the error message that the application had stopped unexpectedly, force close. I tried deleting the account and it wouldn't let me add it back. There are no problems with my exchange server. Tech support is sending a new phone.
