I have two email accounts on my GS4 - Google and a private one through Yahoo. On the private emails, I'll get a notification that I have 8 or 10 emails and when I go to the private email account icon, there's nothing there. They were ALL moved to trash!! How did that happen and how do I get them back in the inbox? I've checked every setting I could find but nothing does the job.

The one that's built into the GS4 for private emails.

Sorry, I can't help with that. I deactivated that and use the Yahoo app for Yahoo and the Gmail app for Gmail. Got my Cox and my work emails I use Maildroid. Actually Maildroid can handle all of them.

You can try another app like Maildroid or K9 for your emails.

Without using a third party email app, I have simply moved the emails using the regular move function at yahoo.

AAF709. I just downloaded and tried the yahoo email app and it apparently sends the mail to the right place but not the attachments. Where do I see those?? I'm just getting the mail but no attachments.

I just did a test sending a jpg. It appeared right below the message.

I get most attachments with Cox or work, both are on Maildroid. At $18 for the paid version, it ain't cheap.

Another app to try is K9, which is free. There is also a free version of Maildroid.

So frustrating. The gmail email app is sending them to trash and the att/pacbell.net mail also going to trash.

I'd suggest using K9 Mail. It can handle multiple accounts, though I use it for my primary Email through my ISP. I don't use my Gmail much.

Just got maildroid (got the free one initially to try it out). Just upgraded to the pro version. Expensive but worth it. Works perfectly. No flaws.
