Encrypting the S6

Has anybody encrypted their Galaxy S6? Have you noticed any adverse effects?

I've been running mine unencrypted since receipt and the only reason I ask is because I'd now like to add my corporate email account to the phone. Corporate security policy requires Android devices to be encrypted...it will actually force the encryption process as I set the account up on the phone.

I used to have my corporate email on here when we were primarily using the Exchange environment. That only forced a PIN lock on the device. Now that we have moved to Google's platform for email, security policy has changed slightly.

I encrypted a phone a while back just before getting rid of it and found one major problem. everything was slow and sluggish. so if you play games on it, forget it.
