Eris with only unltd. web and email plan?

so my wife and i switched to verizon, i got the droid with unlimited data plan, but she got the eris with unlimited email and web. what im wondering is if she wants an app is she paying for the download even on a free app, and will using some of these apps even after download cost us extra?

The unlimited web and email is all you need. Verizon plans are not very well named.

The only reason you'd need the unlimited smartphone data plan is if you have to use enterprise email. Other than that, all you need is Smartphone Email and Web.

If you are on the $45 data plan on your phone, call Verizon and get it switched. You do not need the more expensive plan, it only offers more functionality for Blackberries.
