Error message on Home Screen

I recently downloaded a weather widget from the Android market, but i didnt like it so i removed it. Now im getting a message on my home screen stating "Problem loading widget" and i cant get rid of it.Any suggestions??

Long Press on the widget and drag it to the trashcan on the bottom of your home screen. It is just a leftover placeholder from the app.
