Error status 7

I got the 5.7.893 but I lost my root so now I had to revert back to 5.5.886 and re root using the R3L3AS3DRoot and 43V3Rroot and I downloaded all of the builds to make this happen, but when I go and flash I keep getting these error messages; Assert failed: apply_patch_check("MDT:boot :8388608:a3dc7f949d7fffbd64c8ea1ad19c9d6430deb12:066c0cd6e529a79b1f30f36c1b28d694a95078a2")
E:error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip(status 7) can some one help me out? I a confused beginner

i had that problem also a while back. I messed around with factory reset and wiping data and what not. EVentually got it to work but i cant say exactly how.

Error7?Are you using the bootstrapper?Stock recovery instead...


Better go here for direct hit.... R3L3AS3DRoot and 43V3R root for the BIONIC v2.1 - xda-developers (just follow the directions) ..and download this R3l3AS3DRoot_Windows_V2.1.zip then download this Blur_Version.5.5.886-5.7.893.XT875.Verizon.en.US (use the stock recovery).

NOTE:Before applying the forever root,don't log in to your google account..SKIP ALL..then apply the forever root!

Its because ur kernel is already up to date flash the full update from webtop thread.
