Just had to post this. Made me laugh.

The more things change...the more they stay the same?

Could you imagine if we tried to create such a montage of home screens for the Android system, even if only one version of Android, let alone all major releases? It would be a never-ending stream of variations, including all the countless launchers and themes for them. Not to mention all the countless static HD and live wallpapers. Talk about showing people the difference between the limited choices that IOS offers versus the limitless choices that Android offers. I mean, WOW...just WOW. And the Apple fans just don't get it...

Even with minimal changes throughout iOS, I have to admit the new icons make it feel more modern and up to date.

Android variations absolutely demolish it though.

Yeah but the first three are essentially identical, the next two are a near match, and the last two, although not identical are following the same gene.

So through 7 versions I really only see 4 unique styles.

Even calling it 4 unique styles might be a stretch:D

All they did was add a wallpaper for 4-6, icons are the same.

Apple pie no matter how you slice it is still apple pie. Even ala mode doesn't trickle down and change the essence.
