Exchanging my Rooted D2 - Tips?

I've had enough of my D2.
I've had enough of the laggy web loading times, the constant force closes, the dropped calls, the signal issues, the inconsistent battery life, and the mediocre keyboard.
I had these problems stock, I've had them with every ROM I've used, and I've had them on the replacement I was shipped before I rooted.

I'm taking it back tomorrow and am going to - politely - raise hell.

If someone can point me in the steps to flash back to stock, but also getting to a point where I won't have to re-buy all my apps and re-upload all my contacts, that would be fabulous.
