export contacts to gmail from phone

oi accidently erased some contacts in gmail but they r on my phone still. how do i export contacts to gmail from phone?

It should sync automatically. Make sure they are listed as "My Contacts" in gmail.

That works both ways too, you know. Make sure that they don't get deleted from gmail.

ya.that is my problem. they were deleted from gmail. now phone lost those contacts as well. do i need to say bye bye to those 10 contacts i deleted?

Yep. Gmail is your backup so when you deleted those contacts.

Look around in your contacts. Sometimes you may have them listed in more then one place (in gmail).

Ah what a pain. I work construction so my phone #'s are like gold (work contacts). After losing them enough times i finally started to back up my contacts in my computer. Sure it dont help after the fact but not a bad idea for the future
