Export Single App Data and Import to Different Android?

[I have searched and read through all kinds of threads (here and elsewhere), but haven't found what I'm looking for yet.
If I just missed it, please point me in that direction, and delete this thread. I totally don't mean to junk up the place with yet another needless duplicate]

I was looking for an app for my folks (they each just got a new Droid Razr Maxx....while I'm still sitting here with my third replacement, broken POS Bionic) to be able to easily change their volume/mute/vibrate/etc settings by simply clicking on a widget on the home screen. I use 'SilentMode OnOff'. So, I installed it on theirs (I'm in CO and they're in TX. So, doing things remotely via the online Play portal, and walking them through things, etc). However, it doesn't work on the Droid Razr Maxx. So, I went off looking for one that does.

In my searching and testing apps on my Bionic, I found one that seems pretty cool. It's 0s0ft's 'Simple Sound Profile Widget'.
I managed to edit the profiles and create some of my own, and I think they'd really appreciate having something like this.

However, if at all possible I would like to avoid the tedious process of guiding them through doing the same thing on their phones, because, at this point, they need help with knowing where to 'click' on every single motion. Like, I can't just say, "OK, go to your home screen" and expect them to just get there....I have to tell them to click on the home button....the one at the bottom that looks like a house....etc.

So, is there a way (um....a non-root way....sorry) - short of using something like Titanium, or MyBackup; both of which I have and use - to export the data from a single app on my phone and then import that single app's data to the same app on a different phone? If so, I would be able to quickly and easily get their copy of this app set up just like mine, with the same 'profiles'.

Any ideas?

p.s. I'm not an Android or Linux wizard, but I'm capable enough to follow instructions. Of course, if there's a non-root app (i.e. ya, mine's rooted, but I don't want to go there yet with my folks' droids) for this already, that would be ideal.
