extra battery chargers

I am looking at getting the Seidio Multi-Function Battery Charger,
Multi Function Battery Charger For use with HTC Droid Incredible/EVO 4G, I was wondering, if i were to leave my stock battery plugged in for an extended period of time like lets say i want to leave one at my work, and i end up not using it. It could stay plugged in for multiple days at a time. Would that have any negative effect of the battery? their site doesnt show any negative info so i thought id ask you.

also im never one to look on ebay for anything but my friend who is showed me this... BATTERY CHARGER CRADLE FOR VERIZON HTC DROID INCREDIBLE - eBay (item 280523826404 end time Jul-20-10 03:35:05 PDT)
anyone have this or any thoughts on the item? looks like a good desk dock for both home and work

that cradle is awsome. Looks like it will charge a battery behind it too! If it is for real I will need to get one for my nightstand
