Extra words are added to my texts

Ever since the upgrade, when I text, sometimes there are extra words in my texts that I didn't key in. It is like it is guessing what my next word should be after I type something and hit the space bar. Example: If I type "How are you" and hit the space bar to type the next word, it will put in the word "today" and I hadn't even touched a letter to put in. This is very annoying. It didn't happen before this upgrade. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know a way to stop it? Thank you.

Me too.

I use Handcent. It has done this sine the X Dooms day and it is very annoying.

Called Next Word Prediction

To disable, hit the menu button (from home screen), then SETTINGS, LANGUAGE & KEYBOARD, MULTI-TOUCH KEYBOARD, then remove checkmark by NEXT WORD PREDICTION. This should stop adding the word when you hit the space bar after the previous word.
