Facebook and foursquare pings

Can anyone help me resolve why I am not able to get ping notifications for foursquare or facebook? I am rooted and not running any roms

Have my foursquare pings set for 15 min and the facebook for 30. they worked for a day or two a few weeks ago but now nothing
