Facebook and twitter apps

I'm having a problem syncing my activities/actions from facebook and twitter apps with the desktop pc versions. I posted to the walls of some of my friends on the fb app but it doesn't show up on my profile as a recent activity on the desktop version and I posted to my twitter page from the desktop pc and it doesn't show up on my twitter app profile..
