Facebook app notifications?

Is there a way to make the stock facebook app notify me in the notification bar when I have a notification on facebook (lol)?

I don't think anyone really likes the facebook app so everyone just uses the web browser or an app such as bloo or babler. I am personally using babler because it has the widget. I don't think bloo has a widget yet but I have not checked in a while. Babler at first worked great and then it was not connecting. I think somehow they fixed that and it is working great again and notifications are hitting my Droid as well.

i use bloo for fb notification.. default fb app is a piece of krap

I cant get babbler to work. Keeps asking me to sign in.
